Meet Our Team

Craig LaMont


Craig is passionate about serving teens and families and has been in this industry for a long time. Craig has founded and owned a number of residential treatment centers and is known for his valuable consultation skills in the industry. Craig is president of the National Association of the Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP). He is co-founder of Telos Residential Treatment and founder of Youth Champions Charity. Craig is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has worked and studied in the mental health field since 1990. He graduated with a MS from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Adam Miner

Vice President

BS in Behavioral Science/Psychology. Adam has been involved in the community providing service within scouting, church groups and helping local teens within his community for many years. Adam is the director of Anthem House, a treatment program for youth seeking to learn how to transition from a structured inpatient program to the real world. Currently he is working hard on receiving his MBA from Utah Valley University. When he is not working or volunteering, Adam enjoys spending time with his family including two young boys.

Latricia Hubbard


Previously the Director of Human Resources at Telos RTC, Latricia earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and business management from Brigham Young University. She completed a certification as a professional in human resources in January 2009. Latricia has worked as a business manager for Virginia Tech College of Engineering in Northern Virginia. She has also worked as a public relations manager for Virginia Tech and Marriott. Latricia enjoys being a mom, traveling, gardening, cooking and meeting new people.

Jeff Perlman

Board Member

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, moved to Utah in 2011. Jeff is an independent Sales Rep in the Outdoor Industry with a focus on Bike, Run and Triathlon. He has strong previous nonprofit experience includes working for The Ability Experience as the project manager. He participated in a bike trip across Florida to raise money and awareness on behalf of people with disabilities for Gear Up Florida.

Danny Beekman

Board Member

Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and is a Sergeant First Class for the Utah Army National Guard. Daniel has been on two tours to Iraq. He is fluent in Vietnamese, and enjoys to travel. He spends most of his free time remodeling his home and volunteering his time helping others. When not working Danny enjoys spending time with his family, biking, and playing around in the gym.

Chris Rogers

Board Member

ESQ, A native of Kent, England, Chris moved to Utah in 2002 where he is now a licensed Attorney. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, and a BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University. Chris serves as HR Director and General Counsel for Telos Academy, a non-profit therapeutic boarding school for boys aged 13–17. Chris and his wife, Anna, are also licensed foster parents with Utah Youth Village, and have been engaged in work with teens for many years. When Chris is not at the office, he can be found on the soccer (“football”) field, or at home enjoying time with his family.

Dan Thomas

Board Member

Ten years, including two tours in Iraq, as a US Marine and now 10 years with local law enforcement, Daniel “Dan” Thomas has proudly served his country and community. He is very patriotic and can sometimes be seen and heard playing the National Anthem within the community. His hobbies include playing the guitar, triathlons, and gardening. His colorful past has made for a bright future and he loves to share his experience with the local youth.

Ammie Black

Executive Director

Earned a Bachelor’s in business management with an emphasis in Social Work from Brigham Young University-Idaho. She also studied at Ricks College. Ammie has been working in Business Management for over 13 years. She’s spent 6 of those years in the treatment industry. She enjoys working with youth as an equine therapist and youth instructor once a week. Ammie enjoys playing with her two kids, competing in triathlons, and riding motorcycles.
